This is an agreement between the learner driver and or parent guardian of driver under the
age of 18.
- Peace Of Mind Driving School is accredited with the Queensland Department of Transport,
Janelle holds a TLI41221-Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics and is in possession of a current paid working with children check (Blue Card). These accreditations can be produced upon request at any time. Peace Of Mind Driving School will at all times conduct themselves in a calm and professional manner. - It is also expected that NO aggressive, abusive or violent behaviour will be tolerated from
any student, parent or guardian. Peace Of Mind Driving School reserves the right to terminate a lesson at any time without refund of lesson fees for the above behaviours. - All information provided to Peace Of Mind Driving School will remain confidential. We
will not share any information to any other third party unless required to do so by law in the best interest of the student. - A valid driver license or learners license MUST be produced before a lesson can commence. Failure to do so will result in the lesson being rescheduled. Full lesson fee will be charged if students cannot provide their license (eg lost).
- Students MUST be drug and alcohol free. The instructor reserves the right to use their own
discretion in this regard. If instructor suspects students to be under the influence of drugs and or alcohol, the lesson will be rescheduled and full lesson fee will be charged. - Peace Of Mind Driving School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a lesson due to
injury or illness if necessary, or in the event of instructor and student safety due to inclement
weather.
*If a student fails to, refuses to or cannot afford to pay for the booked lesson or package deal,
then the student’s legal guardian shall be liable for such payments and will be invoiced accordingly. (failure to make payment will result in outstanding lesson fees being forwarded to debt collector or QCAT with all further incurring fees associated to be paid by parent/guardian.
- Peace Of Mind Driving School reserves the right to change lesson fees and packages at any time. This does not affect any pre-purchased lessons or packages.
- Peace Of Mind Driving School does not accept any responsibility for personal items left
inside trainer vehicles. Should a student wish to use their own vehicle, assessment by trainer, along with feedback to student will determine whether lessons are able to be done in students cars or need to remain in a trainers vehicle. Students cars need to be roadworthy, registered and fully insured. Whilst all care is taken, no responsibility whatsoever is accepted for traffic infringements or damage to vehicles. - Peace Of Mind Driving School accepts no responsibility if students receive speeding or
traffic infringements, all care is taken to ensure students drive responsibly however numerous attempts to reduce speed or students running red lights will not be the responsibility of the school, please discuss this with your child prior to the commencement of lessons. - All prepaid lessons, package deals and gift certificates have a 6 month expiry period from
the date of purchase. Any outstanding lessons after the expiry date shall be forfeited.
Packages are for individuals only, businesses are not eligible for the discount packages.
*Gift Vouchers are NOT REFUNDABLE OR ELIGIBLE to be transferred under ANY circumstances. Packages purchased for bulk lessons CANNOT be used on test day.
*If the lesson is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice and is a cash payment, Peace Of Mind Driving School reserves the right to invoice the student or their legal guardian for the
full lesson fee.
- In the case of a no-show (student is not at the pick up location by the time the lesson is due
to commence), the full lesson fee will be forfeited or invoiced for in the case of a cash lesson.
Peace Of Mind Driving School accepts no responsibility whatsoever for students not turning up for lessons, or being late for lessons. Students should be out the front waiting for instructor. Continual no show (with or without contact will result in remaining lessons being cancelled and at trainers discretion may result in no future lessons being booked). Also continual ignorance of reminder messages with lessons booked will result in no future booking being allowed. - All lessons and packages are to be paid for in full, prior to the commencement of the first
lesson. If paying by bank deposit payment must be made 48hour prior to booked lessons. If invoice is required payment should be made on receipt of invoice. By making a booking in person, online via website, Facebook or via telephone, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of Peace Of Mind Driving School.
